Move cursor by swiping horizontally on keyboard area.

It would be great, if one could move the cursor in the text by swiping left and right on the keyboard area.

If I miss typed a word, right now I have to move my finger to the relevant position. It would be great if I could navigate without leaving the keyboard area to the relevant position in the text by swiping left.

That's actually not a bad idea. Second best only to having proper cursor keys.

it would go well with the overall-concept of gestures in the whole OS. It's also how they solved this on the newer blackberrys with physical keyboard.

Jakibaki's Patch Swipe cursor by swiping on the keyboard does exactly that nicely.

It is available in Patchmanager's web catalog, which is easily accessible via Patchmanager 2 or Patchmanager 3 beta.
