[idea] support flint (Matchstick's streaming solution)
Matchstick recently announced hardware partners for their Chromecast/Miracast competitor, Flint. Flint is on github and offers free SDKs for iOS and Android already. Now it may be that the Android libraries work out of the box but I presume we would prefer this to be available for native apps out of the box.
As streaming any kind of content is very important for tablet use (may it be movies, games or presentations), I'd think this would be a nice addition to the tablet if Miracast support (also already requested) proves impossible.
[update 08/03/2015] the matchstick project is officially dead. hence, this feature request can be ignored/closed.
think this would be a great idea! I for one have a matchstick ordered from the kickstarter

Blizzz ( 2015-01-07 12:56:29 +0200 )edit@Blizzz actually, flint as a software-only solution seems superior for such purpose over, e.g., Miracast which AFAIK requires some hardware support (which the tablet SoC allegedly has, the phone SoC not).
