No reception

Since about last week ago I have started losing reception seemingly randomly, even on places where I used to have very good reception. That means that I can't call or anything like that.

I found some TJC issues regarding losing connection but I think they were mostly about losing data. I haven't been able to find any fix for this, either. I tried enabling and disabling airplane mode, stopping android services and rebooting device. Nothing helped.

I did not track this last year because it did not felt like an issue to me. This year in winter holidays i had no cell network reception at all where my friends' phones showed four out of five bars and their internet connections worked like a charm. We used the same roaming provider and so my guess is that we would have used the same cell towers.

I'm traveling again and I'm experiencing the same situation: I have no or only spurious cell network connectivity where my friends got almost full indicators.

I suffered from no sound from the speaker (https://together.jolla.com/question/39900/no-sound-through-speaker/) one week ago and could resolve it by pressing the device. How are cell network antennas connected. Could there be an issue with spring contacts or a loose connector?
