[poll] launcher design evolution for next os version [not relevant]

Hi Jolla sailors,
here i make a poll for make suggestions about an evolution of design and functions for the smartphone launcher.
Currently stand is os 1.1.1.27. Soon comes the sailfish 0s 2.0 with the tablet.
Transparency:
For my part i will find nice to have the transparency for the background of it.
And that we can parameter it how strong should it be.
Maybe have the possibility to choose the background color with rgba (32bits, last byte is for alpha channel).
In this way we could have a background as we want, with transparency levels until full transparent (means ambience picture as background).
I find it could give the design interface something new, fresh... and something significant to make a difference with old os versions.
Have someone other ideas?
Agreed. I was thinking of asking a similar question, but your covers it. When I got my 1st Jolla over a year ago, the launcher background was indeed part of the ambience (transparent), but it made for a bit of a mess with many backgrounds, so Jolla changed it to what we have now, which makes much sense in many cases.
However, yes, I would like to see an option or even just learn which file I have to alter to make the background in launcher, transparent - I feel this would make way for some more interesting user created ambiences to share or for just personal use.
The next release of SailfishOS will have an option to actually change the ambience highlight, according to Soumya Bijjal of Jolla. I give you the link to a special answer, but the whole one could be interesting, on which kind of information could appear on it. Anyway the thread creator, wake up some interesting observation i think.
