Indic script line wrapping bug

I am a native Bangla (aka Bengali, spoken in Bangladesh and Eastern India) speaker. Jolla phone has multi-lingual font support, but did not come with any Bangla fonts. However, I was able to install Bangla fonts in both Sailfish and Alien Dalvik environments. Bangla is now rendered quite well in all native apps like Web Browser, and the Friends (FB client) app. All is not too well in the Android emulation front. Chrome and other browsers have no problem. However, the Android Facebook application fail to apply line wrapping when rendering Bangla scripts thus cropping quite a bit of the text. I understand Alient Dalvik emulates Android 4.1.x. Perhaps, the font rendering/character layout engine in this version of Android is at fault. The same version of Facebook App on my Nexus 4 (running Lollipop) applies line wrapping without any issue. On the other hand, the same version of FB app on my Sony Xperia tablet also running older Android 4.1.x shows the same bug.
Is there a updated version of Alien Dalvik available, or for that matter is there any patch available that may be applied to resolve this issue.
