Jolla could add a perk on there tablet campaign with a 128gb or 64gb. Extra formatted as it should be... with love from finland... :-) i would take this perk then directly. for sure

maybe with some further pictures of the team, the environment there, from the table campaign or some design sprint...

First, they would not be allowed to call it an 'SD' card, they would have to call it just a 'card'. Second, a 128GB card the vast majority of their customers wouldn't be able use to transfer data or use in other devices.

@nodevel error my friend error! you can see in their campaign that they use the term microSD cards with sdxc. And for the 128gb the argument that they couldn't usein other devices is irrelevant. because in most of the linux based computer it is possible, and if you connect the tablet to an other one with usb or over the air, current mtp or other protocoll, you'll see then the tablet sd on a fully sized one (as hdd i think).

@cemoi71 Error my * * *. :) First, read something about the problem, then call an error...

"But that doesn't automatically make it "SDXC". Because of that trademark, even using the term "SD" requires that you are compatible. And the SD logo also assures users of compatibly. So, this means we need to support exFAT as a file system."

As far as I understood, it refers to selling and advertising their product as SD compatible. Saying: We sell a tablet with an SD card which happens to be formatted with btrsfs should be no problem.

for the jolla trouble with the microsd support of 128gb, i have suggested this possibility in next thread
But seems no one to interest, on an opensource alternative of exfat interface....
