According to https://together.jolla.com/question/8147/allow-android-apps-to-use-the-microphone/ I wonder why the microphone does not work with Android sound tracking apps such as Shazam / SoundHound / TrackID.

Any of those apps did not tell that no microphone where found - but it says that recorded sound where not found.

OS: 1.1.1.27, Android Support: 0.14.17

Any ideas - i.e. missed folders or permissions at Android file-system?

The solution was to disable "silent mode" which may blocked recording. simple but not conclusive :-)

Seems to be a bug because I don't think it's intended to block the incoming sound if you just disable your ('outcoming') sound. :D

I had this problem too.

If my Jolla has an established Bluetooth connection, Shazam is not working. Without Bluetooth it works.

I hope this helps.
