Keyboard on upcoming Ubuntu Touch OS looks gorgeus
And more usable than on Jolla. Can we have re-design of keyboard please? Ubuntu keyboard

Can we have special issues listed of the current keyboard functionality instead of just asking to blindly copy / redesign? See below, for instance.

Also, need not down vote critically as @simo pointed, we can prolly be neutral to show disinterest?

I did not ask for copying, or even following this design. It is just "Oh, they have a nice keyboard... why are we stuck with the ugly one?"

virgi26 ( 2015-02-06 13:15:56 +0200 )editHej, It is nice, indeed. But I like Jolla as well. LVPVS out.
LVPVS ( 2015-02-06 13:16:08 +0200 )editThere is no big difference between Ubunt's and Jolla's virtual keyboard. Afaik ubuntu is also using the Maliit framework for the keyboard like Jolla does. The only difference is that ubuntu is using a high contrast keyboard, seperated keys and the special charachters are visible. :)
Alex ( 2015-02-06 13:58:22 +0200 )editOne improvement which I'd like to see is a wider spacebar, don't know if I'm just more clumsy than average Joe, but I keep hitting period. Otherwise I think the keyboard is just fine. :)
raketti ( 2015-02-06 14:43:10 +0200 )editHmmm, where have I seen this before...? Lollipop :-P
