Hi, I've been wondering around the net searching for a case or flip cover for Jolla which would fit for the phone equipped with SolarTOH. The SolarTOH is about 1-2mm thicker than an official TOH, and for example the mapbagrag(tm) cases are too tight for the combination. Any tips for me?

In an ideal situation, I'd love to find a case with removable back "plate" to reveal the solar panel for recharging, but I guess this would be too much to ask currently...

EDIT: The sun is getting higher, and I'm still looking for one

Sounds cool :) What material did she use? Would she like too make one for me too, for something in return of course?

Er...wool? Are we talking about different things? I've made two pictures of my knitted case: Edit: Oh, I'm so sorry! You are looking for a flip cover! No, I have "only" a normal "bag": Picture 1Picture 2

Oh that's so beautiful, but how about the temperature if used with SolarTOH? But well, seeing that just makes me want one anyway :) Please contact via my blog > about

I made one myself too, it's made of foam rubber (the english term is not perfectly fitting, better use the german word "Moosgummi" when searching for a photo!) on the inside which makes it water resistant + gives quite strong falling protection and on the outside I've glued standard paper which comes as protection in packegings. in the end I sued everything together by hand with a standard thread, that's all! you can build it as big as you need it and you could cut a hole in one side and replace the foam rubber with some transparent plastic which you glue to the foam rubber frame (eg with a hot-melt gun, this should work) so the sun would still come through :) I will add a picture of mine, as soon as can take a picture, so you can imagine what I'm trying to say :D image description

Sounds like a plan :) Looking forward for your image, maybe I could try some DIY on this too

I've been using this daily since 6 months now and to my own surprise it only shows minor sign of wear and tear :)

It actually look good, and enviromental friendly being recycled material - perfect pair for a SolarTOH. I'll follow your path, but I'll leave this question open in a case there will be ones sold too at some point. Thanks for the idea!

Try Fitbag (http://shop.fitbag.de/). The shop is in german only - but they sell tailor-made bags and also shipt worldwide. Different outer layers + microfibre for cleaning inside. You can provide your smartphone type while ordering - but maybe you can also ask for different sizes. Ordering for the "normal" Jolla is possible there already - so this may work if you don't have anyone around who will knot your own case ;)

If you have problems with the language just ask.

SolarTOH shoud have two panel's and when not in use you just turn that over to protect panels. When you turn open to table it would be almost double wide and also double effective at same time.

Connection pins to transfer electric and magnetic locking like new qwertyTOH.

I have an older edition of these: Golla Original Wallet / G1686. It works well with my SolarTOH. Good quality material and nothing can beat the brand "Golla" to keep your "Jolla" safe :-) Seems to be a Finnish company, too. What a shame that they advertise many of their products for iPhones and none for Jolla...

I had one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/fitBAG-tailored-Sailfish-integrated-MicroFibre-Jive-Gray/dp/B005TFG8TS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426421317&sr=8-1&keywords=fitbag+jolla with Qi charger TOH from Dirk. Was a bit tight but I remembered it to fit. Maybe a possibility?

Hmm... Thanks, I just put these two side by side to compare, and SolarTOH is something like 1.5mm thicker than QiTOH, so I'm afraid it won't fit into this...
