Peek and hold to pop-up minimized app

You get that the current behavior is left untouched? - This adds peek-to-app and does not replace peek-home-screen. You wouldn't recognize the function as long as you do not peek-hold and even then you can just go back to the app you came from by moving back off the screen where you came from...

@chemist Why to add a slower option, while this can already be done a faster way. So yes, untouched please - unless someone comes up with an idea that actually makes this work better than it currently does.

I agree that swipe+tap is faster to open the app to be checked. Though I think coming back to the app you are working on is faster by the way I proposed. In addition if you have several covers on screen it is sometimes not fast to find the original app. Also the proposed feature doesn't hurt the original way.

Well, it doesn't hurt, yeah. But the app to return to is always the 2nd cover (latest active one is the 1st)

Faster way? You do not have the option to peek into another apps fullscreen view, do you? And why always the second cover? You share a link and want to ask for lunch too, the second app is the browser you shared the link from so what time of the day is it and what do my appointments say - in my calendar 3rd row middle position, and I do not need to interact, I just need to see the fullscreen calendar for a second and return to writing that email like I was just peeking for the clock, no tap, no movement of covers, nothing... so either you are limited to two covers on a daily basis or you did not get the proposal, you peek an app,you then can go to or just return to the app you just peeked from.
