Avoid importing Google Plus contacts when syncing with Google

I have some 400 people in my Google Plus "circles", most of which I have no idea of ever contacting directly. These show up as a separate category in http://contacts.google.com.

When I synced my Google contacts with my Jolla, all of these showed up as a separate contact in the People app. I don't want all of those contacts cluttering my People list. I do want to have all the contacts from the "My Contacts" category imported, however.

This was easy to accomplish with Android. Is it possible to do the same with Jolla?
