bad camera performance in high contrast

Increasingly I find myself struggling to get good results from the camera.. Especially in high contrast situations, and right now in the snow. pictures are dark and setting overexposure doesn't help enough.

Wondering if Jolla is still working on the software? If not. I would love to see this adressed.

Have a go with the cameraplus app at openrepos. If the pictures are better with that camera app, then it's a software issue. You can install it by navigating to that location with the sailfish browser, tap on the list to latest release in the list of releases and then tap on the downloaded .rpm file in your downloads (events view > downloads). You may have to allow "untrusted 3rd party applications" from Settings > System > Untrusted Apps
