TOH idea: Something to save the camera lens from scratches [not relevant]

Hey there, I think the camera lens is to close to the edge of the other half. Also I got some lens flares when shooting in some light-situations. How about that? Make an other half with something like a lens shade around the lens. With that I could lay my jolla on most every surface without getting scratches on the lens.o And we could improve lens flares.

I agree. Actually I think it should be part of the 'standard TOH' shape (although, it would make 3d-print TOH more complicated)

Something like on the N9?

It's funny, cause I just posted the same question/idea myself. In my case, a TOH with no holes for camera would solve it perfectly since I need my phone when I'm at work (and I won't be taking photos a work!). A lens shade is also a very cool solution.

YEAH, I used to love the lens protector of my old N900, would love the same on TOH.

i bought one actually, to protect the camera lens mainly. it does sink the lens in to cover it from scratches at least a bit. it also makes the phone easier to keep in hand, it gives a better grip of the phone as the plastic used is slippery

And does it protect frome lens flares, too?

I have no idea about that.
