GUI for configuring non-graphical feedback
There are many requests found on TJC where users would like to have additional vibration feedback or acoustic feedback, sometimes more , sometimes less. Basically, all of that as already existing effects, is handled by the non-graphical feedback daemon ngfd
. Editing and creating configuration files there without breaking consistency is not easy, though.
It would be great to have a GUI, where all of those settings could be managed straight forward. A bit of guidance and help, to create, edit and store configuration, and to reset to default settings easily.
Or maybe some documentation as a first approach.
I also think this is a much needed functionality. Especially non linux users will have problems with config files and dont want to go deep into system folders. It should be part of the settings app though. Keep everything centralized. Maybe as patch collection?
