I just stumbled upon an article about the new Blackberry Leap. Excuse me, but the design looks strinkingly familiar. Is it a clone? Or just a copy?

Check it out: http://global.blackberry.com/en/smartphones/blackberry-leap/specifications.html

Well its a black rectangle... It's bound to look similar to other black rectangles

True, but the display to bezel ratio, the placing of the speaker, the frame structure, the switches on the side. I mistook it for a Jolla when I saw it. So, that's why I think it looks similar. ;-)

Same design, the hardware is very similar, but the BB is bigger.

The BB looks like what an upgraded Jolla should have looked like... But with the outcome of the AtomX3 (around Q2) through Intel Alliance, the hard ongoing work on the Tablet, Jolla probably don't see any interest in providing an interlediate phone as Apple do with its Iphone "S”.
