I have downloaded and installed Android version of Slack (instant messaging application, slack.com) It tries authentication with Google credentials, the native Jolla browser is displaying Google login page.

It asks me if I would like to give permissions for the third party app Slack.

If I click accept, nothing seems to happen.

I have tried the webpage version of slack on Jolla native browser, and I can login just fine but cannot open the discussions view. Bummer :(

The settings view looks and works okay, though.

It works on my Jolla phone when I do the following steps:

  • install slack android app
  • install Mozilla Firefox
  • using Mozilla, go to slack.com and login via Google account
  • after successful login, click on the "launch app" (or similar) button.

There seems to be something the app is looking for after the account login, but cannot find it when I use the native Jolla browser. The Mozilla work-around does it for me.

I wonder whether it is possible to remotely debug/attach to Sailfish browser?
