Why are videos not playing [off-topic]

Videos on http://m.nos.nl won't play in the native browser; I just keep seeing the spinning circle forever. Why is this?

Does work on my desktop; but m.nos.nl is meant for mobile platforms. FYI, works without flaws on iOS and Android devices. I am just curious which codec is used that Jolla does not support (apparently).

Can someone shed some light on this. The videos on m.nos.nl simply won't play; they just show spinning circle.
