Phone rings, but couldn't answer or dismiss the call [duplicate]

This was weird: my phone started ringing, but when I pulled it out of my pocket, the locked screen was up. When I unlocked the phone, I was on the main screen (phone still ringing), but I couldn't bring up the call app (it started, the swirl rotated for a few seconds and disappeared). Even after the phone stopped ringing, I couldn't start the call app, so I rebooted the phone. Afterwards, there was no record of the call, so I don't even know who called me.
