Please add the "save link as" to the long press menu. This should make it easier to download eg pdf's to the phone. (I had problems with downloading them from gmail)

+1 For example, I tried to download an mp3 podcast today as the browser player is clunky and isn't available offline but didn't find a nice way. Even FingerTerm (thinking about wget or curl) was useless in this case because the clipboards aren't shared. Some history file scraping could have been possible but way too troublesome. A 'Save link as' button would help.

I wanted to download an mp3-file provided via a link but by clicking on the link only the browser-internal player started. The 'save link as' feature should be definitely a feature of the next browser update!

This is important to add. This is the missing feature that in my opinion the most annoying one. It isn't OK that i have to use a computer inorder to do a simple thing like downloading a POD-cast.

Nowadays there is a browser called WebCat in the store, and it has a simple download manager. Another, a bit more cumbersome way is to use the app ShellEx (in which you can paste to) and curl.

It's important. I was trying to download an epub file and the browser opened it as a plain text source!
