[feature-request] actionable notification

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.
These actionable notifications will allow you to respond to messages, reminders and invites without having to leave your app or unlock your phone.
When a text notification pops up at the top of your screen, simply swipe down and you’ll have access to your keyboard without having to switch to the Messages app. When an invite appears on your lock screen, swipe left and you’ll have the option to decline or accept.
How about actionable notifications in jolla? It will be cool if jolla includes in future SFOS 2.0 roadmap. And include this feature of closing notification by swipe. Its irritating when it stays for 3sec and u dont want it to display.
What are 'actionable notifications'? Could you edit your post to make it more clear?
Yo ( 2015-04-17 17:31:45 +0200 )editYou’re right. There’s no way to ignore a notification and sometimes it gets annoying.
AliN ( 2015-04-19 19:40:54 +0200 )editThis is a really great idea. I'd add that the actions should also be possible from apps, so that they could be invoked from the pebble smartwatch, for instance.
Andy Branson ( 2015-04-29 16:24:22 +0200 )editNice idea. It could also be implemented into feeds. Like long hold on feed or notification opens dialog box and some button options underneath (like, retweet, +1) with keyboard popping up at same time and hiding after reply or button action.
