how to disable auto turn on of display [released]

I've gotten the SolarTOH recently and while it works great, I've noticed that when I'm on a call and the light changes, the phone stops charging and the display turns on. This generally leads to accidentally putting the call on hold (not good for the person on the other end :))
The display also turns on when the charger is plugged out. Does anyone know if this setting can be disabled and how to?

In their case the screen comes on when the phone starts charging, but for me it's when the phone stops charging. I will give the upowerd a go and see if that helps
kearnage ( 2015-04-21 00:16:44 +0300 )edit@kearnage - My bad!, I was under the impression (without checking) that when the charger is disconnected, a notification is displayed to say "unplug the wall charger", but this only occurs on my phone if the screen is already lit, if not, no notification occurs and the screen stays blank. But, as you state and I now see, the screen lights up along with the notification only when plugged in - you have the opposite - I get it now! :)

Also, to confirm killing upowerd only helps in that it stops the phone from being charged at all
