Is there any way to install and use Jolla Store client on emulator? I have installed the store-client package via zypper, and the icon is shown on home screen. But tapping it does nothing. I see a loading status, and then it disappears.

As the store is not accessible via web, and I do not own a Jolla device yet, is there any way to see the available apps and their reviews?

Besides the store client you would need to have support for a Jolla account. However it still wouldn't work out-of-the-box, since the devices are linked to your account by IMEI and the Emulator doesn't have one. So unfortunately at the moment you can't view the store content without a Jolla device/special tricks.

Also remember that even though you managed to have a working store client in the Emulator, you wouldn't be able to install any Sailfish apps as the store currently provides content only for the arm architecture.

Is this still the case? Since the statement the Jolla Tablet with x86 cpu has been released.

you don't need the store to deploy apps on the emulator or a device: see info here

i would like to test apps in the emulator before installing them on my mobile , that's why i use the emulator.

im trying to use the packetmanager to install apps. actually i search for a solution to connect the emulator via ssh from the LAN - switching the VBox LAN interface from NAT to Bridgemode disables the LAN emulator connection.
