Is anyone having photos / avatars in contacts synced via CardDAV? [released]

I finally set up CardDAV syncing but it seems that the avatars / pictures / photos of the contacts are missing / not shown. The only post mentioning this that I could find was this one.
Is it just me (and @Sören ) having this issue?
Photos of contacts don't sync for me (from or to owncloud).

Yo ( 2015-04-27 11:46:09 +0300 )OK, my testing against @Manatus test account (thanks!) shows that it does work but you need version 0.0.11 of buteo-sync-plugin-carddav which didn't make it into the latest release, it seems.
My testing there also led me to find another couple of bugs which should be fixed shortly, see: https://github.com/nemomobile/buteo-sync-plugin-carddav/pull/15
Huge thanks for the test account. I'm looking into the "trailing slash" and "UI field for addressbook path" issues next.
chris.adams ( 2015-04-30 10:58:05 +0300 )The "trailing slash" doesn't appear to cause problems for me with CardDAV - whether the server is specified as https://some.owncloud.server/ or as https://some.owncloud.server the CardDAV adapter seems to work fine. The UI field for addressbook path is still outstanding, will hopefully have a fix for that next week (but internal, so won't be visible/released for quite a while yet, I expect).

As I haven't set up any development environment for Jolla: Are there binaries for latest buteo-sync-plugin-card* packages? Through the developer repositories? (How do they work?) If not: Is there a guide to help me compile the binaries myself (on the phone...)? I'd like to test. (No worries, I have regular backups of my calendars and contacts...)
Yo ( 2015-05-01 16:25:25 +0300 )Upload and download of contact image via CardDAV now works with Aaslakkajärvi 1.1.6.27. Tested with Owncloud 8.0.3.
Note that if you add image on phone to an existing contact synced from the source, it creates a merged local contact, and the photo does not get uploaded.
If you create a completely new contact, it gets created and uploaded to the carddav source.
