Isn't there a native todo.txt or taskwarrior app?

Is there any chance to have a native todo app that is able to sync? I know about TaskList, which looks great but is not able to sync data. Waiting for Jolla calendar to properly sync and include caldav tasks seems to be a very long-term goal.

Right now I'm using Android Simpletask Cloudless with an rsync cronjob to keep todo.txt in sync with my server. This works, but a native solution, ideally for feature-rich Taskwarrior which has built-in sync, would be greatly appreciated!

I put taskwarrior with sync support up on Openrepos yesterday: https://openrepos.net/content/inte/taskwarrior TW is CLI but very slim and pretty handy even in the Jolla terminal. It works for me but is not yet fully tested. Feel free to play around with it. Feedback welcome!

I saw it this morning, very cool! Thanks a bunch for that. I used Taskwarrior on the n900 which was cool due to the h/w keyboard. I'll have to play around with it to see if I like using Jolla's terminal with it. Ideally now we'd need a connector between TaskList and Taskwarrior :)

Since typing without HW-keyboard is somewhat anoying, I also compiled tasksh and made a starter icon as well: https://openrepos.net/content/inte/taskwarriorstarter At least it's not necessary to type "task" for each command then :-) Having TaskList sync to taskd-servers (or ideally to both taskd AND Caldav) would of course be amazing!

Very nifty, thumbs up for your tasksh-starter! :-)

I did a todo.txt GUI:

Although its not feature rich. ;)

What would you like to have? I guess e.g. "due:"-support.

Thank you. I was thinking more about gui apps, though.

The command line rpm you linked isn't able to sync due to missing GnuTLS support. Can this be fixed?
