In SFOS the logic is that something that includes something else moves from left to right. Ie in the Settings if you tap System you "move" rignt and with a LtoR swipe you move back.

However in the email app you get to your account folders -which include your mails- by swiping RtoL. Why was this behavior chosen and is there any plan to make it consistent with the rest of SFOS?

it is right to have it in the right swipe.. cause if it is in the left swipe. it means to go back to the previous page, where you don't have a previous page in the starting page of the app

The idea is -or should be IMO- that the inbox (or folders if you wish) includes your emails. It is your previous page in a way. To give you another example. Even if i go to folders and select Send the gesture to go back is RtoL swipe.

The logical way would be that you get on the folders page first, when you tap on the mail account. But that is inconvenient, because most of the time you want to check the Inbox. I think a "Change Folder" item in the pulley menu would be a good solution with covers both comfort and consistency.

@wanderer The problem -or better a sane approach- is that you cant have too big pulleys. There is nothing wrong IMO to start to the second page of an app. The file browser does it and works great.
