I have updated to Sailfish 1.1.4.29 last week and everything worked fine. I use telegram as a chat service. Yesterday it stopped working. Then I noticed that NO android software worked anymore. I have reinstalled android support and the apps, no success. The sysmptom is, that the apps start, but then they just disappear. In the forum I have only found solutions for earlier OS versions, shall I use them? In that case I will need su rights and can't find a how-to for that; is there a link? THANKS for any help :).

Do you have sailfish utilities installed from the store? If you have it, you get the utilities menu in the settings, where you can restart or stop the android environment. Try it out, normally it should fix your problem.

Anyway I also ran into a situation once, where I couldn't open android apps, and even the Utilities menu didn't help. But a reboot fixed it.
