Sailfish-browser crash on startup.
The browser in my jolla was crashing the moment it started. I installed sailfish-browser-nightly from the warehouse. But the crashing wouldn't stop. So I uninstalled from the warehouse app. Now when I do pkcon install sailfish-browser it says package not found.
I need help. Although I can surf by installing an android browser, email links don't open without the sailfish-browser. I had upgraded to Aijanpaivanjarvi.
Edit 3: Updating to 1.1.6.27 does not help either.
Edit 1: Ok, so imunar's suggestion brought the browser back. But the crashing continues. I tried opening fro the terminal and I got this.
Edit 2: Ok this got me thinking. Shouldn't we have more than one option of browsers and the ability to choose the default? I just added the feature request tag.
Hi Sameer, either try the suggestion from imunar as laid out below, or check out this thread from here on TJC, it might yield some clues.

This browser will REPLACE your built-in browser. To restore original browser uninstall this browser and install official browser from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26659227/jolla/sailfish-browser-1.1.12-1.armv7hl.rpm
In case of problems you can use following commands in terminal to 100% return original browser:
I don't know if the version provided via dropbox is the current upstream version.
Generally it would be nice if there would be an official way to test nightly versions of sailfish-browser to avoid such problems.

raketti ( 2015-05-18 16:32:31 +0200 )editWell it seems to be forgotten. I am also calling for more native options.
Sameer ( 2015-05-18 19:01:04 +0200 )editAt the moment there are three (ok, four if you count the Jolla Browser too):
So, how many browsers do you need? ;)
