Is there any plan to support LTE 700 frequencies? I'd love a Jolla phone but need LTE 700 support. Thank You.

AFAIK Jolla Phones hardware can only support already mentioned frequencies.

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz (Bands 1/8)
4G LTE 800/1800/2600 Mhz (Bands 3/7/20)

I understand the current phone hardware probably only supports the current frequencies. I'm really asking about future phones with newer hardware.

Ahh, I thought you meant JP1. :) AFAIK Jolla would need to make two HW for single device as there isn't any chip which supports "all" frequences. But it's possible, yes. :D

There were Penta band chips for WCDMA allowing those phones, i.e.N8, E7 and N9 to operate on any 3G network, so I guess there's hope for LTE. If not then it'd be great to see Jolla have other hardware that supports 700. It would certainly open up the market for Jolla.
