Bug: SD card support is flaky - content disappears [duplicate]

My SD card is 16GB formatted as VFAT. This card works fine in N900. On the Jolla it did take a few minutes before its content appeared in the Gallery and Media apps. But then after sometime it disappeared again.
I tried to remove the SD card and insert it again, which did not change anything. (Nothing appeared) I tried to reboot the phone with the SD card inserted, again nothing changed. But removing the SD card and rebooting, made the contents appear again.

As mentioned there I think it's a tracker issue, because from terminal/filemanager I can see the contents of the SD card. Is that the same in your case?
Tanghus ( 2014-01-03 15:59:58 +0200 )editI'd say it's related. I've tried to take of TOH and and remove+reinsert SD card. That didn't help me. What worked was to remove SD card, reboot and reinsert. But yes, I could always see the SD contents in /run/user/100000/media/sdcard. SD card was mounted as accessible.
