Shazam Android-app suddenly stopped working [not relevant]

Hi there,

all of a sudden, I can't open one (of few installed) certain android app: Shazam. I am not a developer so I also wasn't messing with my phone before. Nothing specific has changed? When I now try to open it, either normally by clicking or via Play Store (which I got installed) it says "Shazam" was closed.

Would be a pity to loose all the tags, if I would need to deinstall the app.

Any ideas, workarounds?

Thanks!

You could try the 'Sailfish Utilities' app from Jolla Store, it has options to stop/restart Android/Dalvik layer and other functions not related to Android layer.

Once installed, don't expect to find a desktop icon, there isn't one. Instead, navigate to Settings/System and find 'Utilities' near the bottom of the System page, underneath 'About Product'.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had the Utilities before but neither the restart of Android/Dalvik layer nor the restart of the phone itself helped much. There was an update for the app and after the installation it started to work again. I dont understand why but thats sometimes the case with other Android apps as well. Some apps like Whatsapp (all other thing being equal) cant be opened. Sometimes only after Android Restart they work again.
