The current Settings->Apps is following the order of the apps in Launcher but leaves out the folder structure, this is annoying, inconsistent and $put-more-words-here

Please have Settings->Apps be just the same as Launcher, incl. folders!

I agree, though for now I'd prefer a simple alphabetical list of the apps that have settings here (not many as long as 3rd party apps can't utilise this).

But once more apps can use this place for settings, maybe the launcher order (with folders) will make more sense.

roadmap email from today has

  • Option to allow Android app's background services to start on bootup (Settings->Apps->[app_name])

lets hope normal harbour-apps will follow

Perhaps a search function would also be useful for Settings->Apps

@Lacrimosa when I have exactly the same structure presented as in launcher, I will be a lot faster just going where the app in launcher is than tapping a search field and starting to type.

Better still, ditch the silly idea of Settings -> Apps altogether and put each app's settings where they belong -in the app itself! How annoying it is when I have to leave the app I am in and go to a different place to do routine tasks like clear the browser history, toggle whether I want SMS delivery reports or change the camera resolution :-(
