[bug] slow to wake up
When the screen is down, pressing the power button or tapping two times on the screen wakes it up, but it is too slow. It was much faster on my old phone. There is certainly a way to improve this wakeup speed

Suggesting contacts when entering phone by number [duplicate]
Double tap occasionally fails to wake device
Faster way to phone and contact
slow to reconnect to network after sleep
bug: power button does not unlock the device [released]
Bug: Display stays black on alarm-clock ringing, even after double tapping and power key using
Bug: only grey screen after wake up [duplicate]
Admittedly it's a bit slow at times, but would you like that there's some kind of feedback when having double tapped? Let's say, pulsating LED or something like that until screen is on.
Stskeeps ( 2014-01-05 21:13:55 +0200 )editNo, just try your best to make it faster (there should be a way, there is no way that is can't be made faster since this is _much_ faster on android phones). The other thing you could do is to make the phone back to sleep on double tapping again.
vbmithr ( 2014-01-05 22:54:08 +0200 )editI also mentioned this behaviour from time to time: Even pressing the power button takes about 1s to wake up the phone. But this is not always the case, most of the time it wakes up instantly.
kMan ( 2014-01-08 16:40:29 +0200 )editI experience the same behavior since the latest upgrade to 1.0.3.8
Marcus ( 2014-02-07 11:05:04 +0200 )editIt happens quite often, and I end up pushing the power button three times or more to get the display back. This is the more annoying as there is no permanent display of the time, as on the N9... can't wait for a LED / e-ink TOH !
