Even though I had to get used to the now old style of the buttons, it had some consistency with the pulley menus and the prev/next page indicators. The new style buttons are, well .. uninspiring? bland? out of place? In many apps the buttons now look quite horrible actually, unaligned, too big, lack of margins etc. Additionally, this new style button is now similar to what some apps used as a highlight style or tag.

I want the old styling of buttons back. The current style is a mistake.

I quite liked the old design and was initially disappointed with the new style because IMO it lost the visual coherence with checkboxes, progress bars and pagestack indicators (the 'glowing carbon fiber filter'). I do understand however that it's not a design that's usable in all situations.

I still think the height of the new style buttons is a bit too much, and I think a small adjustment there could help, along with, maybe, a combination of the old style with the new, giving the button an underline and bit more 'depth'.
