I used an iPhone before I got my Sailfish X and I used iMessage before. I deactivated iMessage before switching to Sailfish X. So that's ok on my side.
Neverthelesse some people keep sending picture messages from their iPhones sms/iMessage app to my phone number. Those messages arrive as MMS now and I have to pay when I am aboard, which is the case quite often.
I already deactivated automatic MMS download in Sailfish X settings, but yesterday I tapped accidentially on an MMS and downloaded it.
I want to stop this, because I never ever willingly use MMS, but apparently there is no possibility to simply delete the MMS APN.
Now I deleted all the credentials in Sailfish X MMS settings an replaced the APN "telekom.internet" by "---xxx---". This has been stored now, but will it definitely deactivate receiving and sending MMS? My provider is t-mobile in germany.

---update---
The changements I made seem to block MMS, but MMS notifications still arrive via SMS. It would be great to simply be able to switch off MMS (or delete the APN). This (switching off) is possible on iOS. No idea how they do it, but apparently it's possible.
