Forced downgrading after deactivation of the "early access" !?

Dear Sailors ...... A call for help!

After activating "Early access" - option in the Jolla account, I updated my Xperia X to Sailfish 3.1.0.11. After that I have (stupidly) disabled the "Early access" in the account again. Then I was offered an update for the Xperia, which I also downloaded. After the download I find out that this is the older version (Hossa 3.0.3.10). Now I obviously only have the option to install this version because there is no possibillity to cancel the "Update". Is there a way to stay on the current version and delete the downloaded update without performing the installation, so that future updates are possible again? (A "Cancel-Button" for stupid newbies would be nice.) Is it possible to use the termainal to correct this error?

I am grateful for every tip.
