Its a bit hard to know how to describe these issues.
Sony X10 Sailfish 3
1. I installed aliendalvik a few days ago. After I did that I couldn't make calls and I never found out how to uninstall it so I factory reset the phone.
2. After reset I couldn't get dual sims working. So I did another reset while at work. At home I don't have mobile coverage so I wanted to do it where I could do things uninterrupted with good mobile coverage.
3. Still can't get the dual sim function working. I can get one working, but not two. If I have sim1 working I get the mobile network, but if I then activate sim2 and successfully search for the mobile network, I can get it, but it disconnects sim1.
4. When one of the sim cards gets disconnected I get the message "not registered on the network".
5. If I get one sim working and turn the phone off it doesn't connect automatically when I boot the phone back up. On these occasions I get the message "network disabled by Sailfish Device Manager". is there such a thing?
These problems are not consistent however. If for example I get one of the sim cards connected to the network, it will kick itself off for no apparent reason.
I don't understand this at all. When I first got the phone these dual sims were easy to configure. I can't see that I'm doing anything different. I've mucked around with this for most of the day on and off and I am just out of ideas. I am particularly thrown by the "Sailfish Device Manager" and the fact that this doesn't make consistent sense to me.
I hope this makes some sense, and more importantly I hope someone can help me.
