We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

I run SailfishOS 3.2.1.20 (free version) on an Xperia XA2 Dual SIM.
I see SailfishOS as a true GNU/Linux distribution with a package manager.
As such I would expect to regularly run a command to bring all packages up-to-date, such as zypper ref; zypper up
or apt update; apt upgrade
Is this recommendable or even possible?
There seems to be a new Sailfish version out, but I see nothing new when I issue zypper list-updates
.
I also don't see anything in the OS Updates dialog.
Are system updates something I get only with the paid version?
Thank you in advance.

Will I keep all my configurations (even command line hacks) after an update?
Thank you in advance.
