Today I noticed that my speaker doesn't speak to my anymore all of a sudden. Headphones still work, however when there is no sound being played, I keep hearing a nasty clicking sound that will only cease when unplugging the headphones or upon a new sound being played.
I already tried (soft?) rebooting via "reboot" and restarting pulseaudio none of which did have an effect. The "csd" testing tool (as suggested link:here didn't produce output either (yet, this doesn't seem to indicate the speaker is really broken according to that thread).
Any ideas or suggestions? Are there any pulseaudio settings I could check?
