I love the Jolla so far, and also the concept of The Other Half. However, I also feel that TOH possibilities are barely scratching the surface. Only with a wider user base and dev community will we really see some of the wild concepts come to life. That may mean we will not see them until the next Jolla phone comes.
So, I wonder: will the next Jolla support the same TOH dimensions and connection placements? Consistency in the standard gives developers confidence for the longer term. And as a user, my purchase of a whole range of TOH's can migrate to the next phone. OTOH, it would limit design freedom for the next phone. A somewhat bigger screen could possibly fit the current dimensions, but I guess 4.7" would be the limit.
Whay do you think: keep the current form factor and TOH standard, or start from scratch for the Jolla 2?
