CalDAV: cannot delete calendar entries

I have Generic CalDAV configured to my ownCloud server.

The issue is: items cannot be deleted. They will always appear after the next sync run.

To reproduce: 1. create an calendar entry on Jolla 2. wait until it is synced 3. delete it → on the next sync run it will reappear

and

  1. delete a calendar entry on the ownCloud server (either directly web interface, or by another client like Thunderbird Lightning)
  2. see it reappear after the next sync run on Jolla
