With update 1.0.7.16 we got PBAB support, among others. While this is great news and seems to work for some, there are now also a lot of people experiencing new issues. For some, like me, I actually can't use my car-kit anymore. As there are quite a few issues now on together I tried to collect them. Hopefully this helps all affected to get to a working solution.
Currently there are several issues related to this (probably incomplete):
Between all the issues I find this one very interesting as it seems to 'explain' the issue I have with the Renault car-kit. An active connection (e.g. playing music over A2DP) seems to work just fine. I can listen to CuteSpotify without any connection dropping issues. But if the phone is just passively connected to the car-kit, the connection drops often, like every (couple of) minute or so. As I have broken the car-kit/navigation/board-computer in my Renault in the past (in Dutch) with a bluetooth connected Nokia N9, I don't dare to keep the connection dropping all the time.
