Like so many others, I find the look of the upcoming BB Passport hardware pretty compelling, especially the combination of massive battery and hardware keyboard. However I find BB10 less than thrilling ... and of the gesture UIs, it's a long way behind Meego, Ubuntu Touch and even Sailfish. I don't know what RIM's policy on dual booting or rooting is, but it would certainly be in their / jolla / ubuntu's interests for all 3 to make sure that the Qt / QML reliant Operating Systems can be supported across all 3 devices. Without cooperation, inroads into Android / iOS are never likely.
Anyway know if it's possible with current BB10 devices?
