Apply settings gestures missing

Settings-> System -> Text input -> Keyboards for example has no Applygesture, it is very irritating to not have it.

People say it is unintuitive to have to pull left to apply and return to the previous screen but it is against the idea of muscle-memory to not have it even when it is not needed. In this case (Keyboards) there is no need to have an Apply button but I generally find myself pulling left to accept settings or something from lists and tag additional items or scroll lists by trying to.

EDIT: removing the apply gestures from settings is in my humble opinion a bad idea as you expect pages to cancel your input when you leave in the direction you came from (walk backwards through the door you came in from) - an idea to not break with moving patterns would be to pull left and show a checked checkbox like the lock when you send the phone to sleep, so people have a visual feedback that
