Is there any official statement regarding TOH backwards compatibility?
I wonder whether e.g. the funky other halves would work with the next device generation, but couldn't find an answer.

Is there any official statement regarding TOH backwards compatibility?

Is there @Jolla: will the next device offer backwards compatibility with current other halves?
EDIT: okay - let me rephrase this, as I would love to see this question actually answered by Jolla (as opposed to having another user-only discussion or being closed as a duplicate of a user-only discussion).
There does not seem to be any official statement regarding backwards compatibility of TOH backwards compatibility?size and interfaces for future devices.
