I understand the Sailfish Utilities are as 'non-public' as Uitukka and there's a chance mistakes will be corrected in the next release, but just in case the current German texts for Sailfish Utilities weren't meant as a temporary stop-gap solution... Here's the problem:
German text:
Das Untersystem zur Unterstützung der Android-Apps muss neu gestartet werden. Versuche dies zu nutzen, wenn Android-Apps nicht gestartet werden können oder nicht funktionieren.
Compared to the English version, the whole first sentence has a different meaning - an alarming one. It means the Android sbsystem has to be re-started. What it should say is "Restart if you ...". Also, "Untersystem" reeks of Google translate (although its not fundamentally wrong, just unusual), as does "Versuche dies zu nutzen".
I'd suggest:
Starte hier den Systemteil zur Unterstützung von Android-Apps neu. Das kann helfen, wenn diese Programme nicht richtig funktionieren.
No complaints so far - because not one single world in the whole paragraph has been translated. I thinks it's the only English part of the whole UI. :)
The suggestion is, of course, to translate it. Also, it would be a good thing to stick to one word when it comes to Alien Dalvik. When we re-start it (above), we refer to it as "Alien Dalvik". When we stop it, it becomes the "Android runtime". The same word should be used (preferrably "Android runtime") so that users know it's the same thing they either stop or re-start from this screen.
A possible translation would be:
Schalte die Android-Unterstützung ab, um Speicher freizugeben und die Akku-Laufzeit zu erhöhen. Alle Android-Programme werden beendet, auch solche, die im Hintergrund laufen (z.B. Instant Messaging Services). Die Android-Unterstützung startet automatisch wieder, sobald Du eine Android-App öffnest.
(Bold part added by me. I think it's important here to inform the user that Android runtime will re-start automatically as soon as an Android app is launched, so stopping it isn't that big of a deal.)
German text:
Starte bei Problemen mit der Verbindung (WLAN, mobile Daten) das Netzwerk neu. Ignoriere die Warnung, dein Smartphine neu starten, da die SIM-Karte entfernt wurde. Dies ist nur ein Nebeneffekt, der durch den Neustart des Netzwerks verursacht wird.
First of all there's a typo: A smartphone is a smartphone even in German, there's no smartphine. So: "Dein Smartphone neu starten..."
The real problem here is that there's no grammar in this smartphine-sentence. A possible re-write would be:
Ignoriere die Warnung, dass Dein Smartphone neu gestartet werden muss, weil die SIM-Karte entfernt wurde.
Other sentences here are fine.
It's OK as it is. I'd add the article "den" as the first word so it become more readable as a sentence:
Den Datensicherungsspeicher löschen...
Same as above. We like our sentences with articles in German:
Lösche den Paket-Cache, wenn Probleme...
The real issue with this paragraph is the last link:
... findest Du unter here.
"Here" is an English word in a German sentence - and even as the translated German "hier" it wouldn't make sense together with 'unter'. A correct sentence would be like:
... findest Du hier.
Same as above with "here". Change last words from
... findest Du unter here.
to
... findest Du hier.
