If you try to add a google account without a gmail address, it doesn't really work:

Add an account the usual way via settings→accounts→add→google, authenticate, etc.
With my gmail-less account I authenticate, untick IMAP/POP3 (not doing this doesn't change the outcome), get back to the account overview, click on the just added gmail-less account and get a "Not logged in"-screen, telling me to log in and authenticate again. Rinse and repeat.

Sometimes the account "works" for 5 minutes, and then goes back to "Not logged in".

I tried another account that has only gmail, and everything worked instantly.

Anyone to also check and confirm this?

If you I had a good test around and could specify my problem:

When I try to add a use my google account without for gtalk it logs itself immediatly out, when I try to go online, resulting in me having to log in/authorize again.

If I'm not using gtalk everything just works fine with this account.
