I would like to have persistent keyboard languages for each app, as I know it from desktop PC.

Sometimes you have several apps open, each app used in a different language, where you need different layouts due to special characters at the same time.

Often I simply forget to change keyboard language. But even if you could easily use German layout for writing English text, typing in foreign words has also an impact on the "learning ability" of word recognition, as the wrong words are added to the respective language's database.
