[1.1.7.24] Can't install updates or new apps from Jolla Store [answered]

After the update to 1.1.7.24, I can no longer install application updates or new applications from the Jolla Store.

I am able to initiate the update/installation, but downloading never completes. I also tried to install using pkcon, but this also encounters a problem with the download.

Notes:

  • I didn't have any problem with the upgrade to 1.1.7.24, everything completed successfully as far as I am aware.
  • I've deleted and re-added my Jolla account. I can sign in to my Jolla account on the website without problems.
  • "ssu release 1.1.7.24" and "version --dup" completes without problem (after I removed the package that was pending an update).
  • I've run "pkcon refresh" several times (and after I removed the package that was pending an update, "pkcon update" completes too).

I installed 1.1.7.27 over the last stable version and now I have the same problem (I did not install 1.1.7.24 nor ... 25). I cannot install or remove an app, neither from Store nor from warehouse. I tried pkcon refresh... this is what I get:

[nemo@Jolla ~]$ pkcon refresh Refreshing cache Waiting in queue Waiting for authentication Waiting in queue Starting Fatal error: Could not configure normal mode. [nemo@Jolla ~]$

Edit: Solved! The answer is to be found in TMO, thanks to Coderus.

This problem i had too. Warehouse installed - 8 repos active. Update from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7.27. (Balance before update: 9.5GB used.) then this happend. Now its working again. Thanks.

Solved problem with upgrading from 2.0.4.14 to 2.0.5.6 in similar way.

We had some data replication issues between Europe and Asia which caused problems for some of the devices/users. Could you check if the issue is now cleared and everything is working again?

Thanks for the update - I can confirm that for me os upgrade/app updates/new app installs are now working again!

My 1.1.6.27 is happily updating again after not being able to for more than 2 weeks now. Thanks for solving the issue. Where can I buy a new battery, btw?

@Nokius: Yes, the Jolla store loads successfully for me. But I can't update any installed apps nor re-install any app if it has an update in the Jolla store. I have updated my post with more details ...

I had the same issue Store shows nothing [SailfishOS 1.1.7.25 (Björnträsket)].

Nothing means: After opening the Store, I saw the Store label in the right upper corner. Nothing happened no loading.

I curl the repos to check if there is may an issue but I got 401 and 302, so they are up.

when checking SailfishOS updates in Setting I saw Connecting in the UI journalctl -f had this:

'JollaStore::tryConnect:178 - void JollaStore::tryConnect() Already authorizing' but nothing happen.

for me an reboot helped after that I was able to access the store again

* Not sure if it's connected with the first post or an other issue* Sorry after the reboot the logs are flushed so I'm not able to provide logs.
