More and more carriers are rolling out wifi-calling, usually together with VoLTE. So I wonder: are there any news on that since 2015? Or is this answer still uptodate?

Could have done with this these last few weeks; 3 locations with no 3UK signal while wife's iPhone connected all the time via wifi calling. Is this a feature of the device, or SFOS, or both? Does Xperia X support it on pure Android?
