Unable to update from 1.0.0.5

Hi. I recently did a device reset on my Jolla phone and it reverted back to version 1.0.0.5 of Sailfish OS.

When I go to About > Check for Updates.. it indicates that it is Checking... (for around 5 to 10 minutes) and then simply says the phone is Updated.

How can I get around this and update to the latest version of Sailfish OS?

I have a working WiFi connection on the phone and the system time and date is correct, by the way.

Have you ever opened the Jolla store? I get the update notification when I open the store – I don't know why.

When factory resetting make sure you do the following:

Set up your Jolla Account details in the Out of Box Setup
Update Immediately, and do not stop until you're on the latest version

So I can now...

see that release 1.1.4.29 is available
download it
install it

But then the phone reboots back into 1.0.0.5 and alerts me that 1.1.4.29 is available for download. Again and again.

Any ideas?

@tigeli something wrong with provided upgrade in 1.0.0.5

@peeb you should actually see 1.0.2.5 - there is a manual way to upgrade to that but lets have staff have a look before you do that, might be an issue on server side
